Merkle & Partner GbR becomes Merkle CAE Solutions GmbH

With effect from 01 July 2022, the change of name of Merkle & Partner GbR to Merkle CAE Solutions GmbH became a reality. After almost 33 years, the company is now going the way of becoming a corporation.

"After many years, we decided to change our name for organisational reasons," says Stefan Merkle, managing director of GbR and managing partner of Merkle CAE Solutions GmbH. "As with the partnership, I stand for Merkle CAE Solutions GmbH with my name and my view of commitment, business ethics and reliability."

Merkle & Partner, based in Heidenheim and with branches in Homburg/Saar, Wolfsburg and Erfurt, employs around 50 people. Its fields of activity are structural analysis, flow simulation and virtual product development.

With almost 33 years of company history, Merkle & Partner was one of the first service providers of engineering calculations and simulations in Germany. While at that time the field was still reserved for space travel and highly technical areas of the automotive industry, today simulation technologies are among the most important driving forces and progress makers in almost all industrial sectors.

The change of name is intended to reflect the company's further growth.
