In 2017, we surveyed customers of Merkle & Partner from various industries about their tasks and problems in the development of plastic components. The results of this study are now available in the publication "Plastics Study 2017", which you can download free of charge below.
The typical engineer, responsible for the development of plastic components, comes from the automotive industry and has acquired his plastics-specific knowledge through "training-on-the-job". What he lacks most are material parameters.
We were able to gather these and other interesting facts during our plastics study conducted a few months ago on the tasks and problems involved in the development of plastic components. You will receive the e-book free of charge as a thank you for subscribing to our newsletter. Alternatively, you can of course purchase it. On November 15, 2018, we would like to enter into a dialog with you and together revolutionize the current state of the art for the realistic, fast and economical design of plastic and elastomer components. This symposium is embedded in the SmartSim research project, which we are conducting together with Aalen University. We are looking forward to your registration, gladly also with a presentation.
