Topic:
Optimization - the way to the optimal product
Description:
The term optimization is on everyone's lips in the context of engineering calculations and simulation. This term is often used as a synonym for a manual variation of parameters with the aim to improve a product. This is a pragmatic way, which does not always lead to the goal and rarely to an optimal product.
Alternative approaches are presented which allow an optimal product to be developed. Practical examples are used to show how much potential can still exist in a manually optimized product and which automated methodology allows this to be exploited efficiently. This methodology is embedded in the product development process to
in order to define the interface and the best time for optimization. Issues of manufacturability and robustness to manufacturing tolerances will also be included.
This workshop is primarily aimed at design engineers, project engineers and product development engineers who want to improve and optimize their products. Our company's speakers have many years of experience in virtual product development, simulation and optimization and look forward to guiding you on the path to the optimal product.
