Description:

In today's world, development cycles are becoming faster and shorter. An efficient method for quickly and reliably obtaining information about the behavior of flows is flow simulation CFD. Used correctly, it can be a very efficient and effective tool.

This workshop is aimed at development and project engineers who want to discover and use the advantages of computational fluid dynamics. During the one-day workshop we will briefly go into the background and theory. Examples will be used to show the possibilities and limitations of modern fluid dynamics simulation.

Among others, the following topics will be addressed:

• Basic fluid mechanics equations, turbulence modeling, numerical methods.
• What do you need for a simulation?
• Simulation as a means to an end - no more and no less
• Modeling and setup
• Possibilities of postprocessing and visualization
• Examples from practice

The speakers all have many years of experience in the application and use of flow simulation in the product development process. We look forward to sharing our knowledge with you.
