Merkle CAE Solutions GmbH and EDAG Engineering GmbH start cooperation

The world's largest independent engineering service provider EDAG from Wiesbaden and the simulation specialist MERKLE & PARTNER are starting a cooperation in the field of CFD simulation technology in order to be able to offer their customers comprehensive complete solutions at the highest technical level.

As a complete vehicle developer, the EDAG Group offers a wide range of simulation applications to digitally accompany and optimize all development steps in the product creation process.

MERKLE & PARTNER's proven expertise in the field of fluid mechanics (CFD) ideally complements the EDAG Group's competencies in the digital product environment. "Based on this intention, we will jointly expand our existing business activities in this area in the future," explains Jörg Hülsmann, Head of CAE and Vehicle Safety at EDAG. "Through our cooperation, we will involve MERKLE & PARTNER in international projects of our worldwide customer network. A real WIN-WIN situation, from which our customers will also benefit through the integrated and high-level portfolio of simulation applications."

The range of services in fluid mechanics extends from single-phase and multiphase flows to particle simulations.
Within the scope of the cooperation, the respective competencies will be applied in the best possible way for the benefit of the customer on a project-specific basis. Among other things, the increased performance is intended to contribute to mastering the increasing number of complete vehicle developments with confidence or to being able to offer component and module developments as complete solutions.
